Oct. 28, 2014 RALLY - Be the PUBLIC in PUBLIC Schools
at the ARC
As we noted before, there is a proposed constitutional amendment on the ballot in November that could affect YOUR child and we were planning an informational forum co-hosted with the CCPTA. However, proponents have stopped their campaign, so instead of a forum we are holding a rally for public schools.  Although there will still be information available on the amendment, this is a fun event that goes well beyond the issues of this election cycle.  We will have "TED"-type talks focused on "Why public schools" and "The future of public schools", a photo booth, message boards and more!   As at other CPPS events we will have a grab bag where you can share your thoughts and questions.  Kid and parent friendly!  Come for all or part. Show your support for YOUR public schools!
